Seabees Contribute $50 To I Corps Amputee Fund

WITH 1ST MARINE WING, Oct. 12- In two days, the 163 seabees at a forward airbase of the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing collected $50 in donations for the I Corps Korean childrens' amputee fund, Lt. John Mascenik, officer in charge, announced recently.

The money is to be used as part of the fund's program to assist Korean children whose bodies have been mutilated by the war.

The donating Seabees represent Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit No. 1, Detachment A.
